Helpful Royal Mail, marketing-speak at Philips, and something that must have seemed like a good idea at the time…
and, this morning I drove through this:
Possibly a mistake. My car seems less than chipper. Ho hum.
Whoever came up with the phrase ‘cardboard jeans’ deserves an award. I’d never even considered buying fabric conditioner before.
I like The Feeling‘s latest single – Fill my Little World – as it’s rather jolly and boppy. It comes with an eight-minute compilation of their upcoming album, with thirty second snippets of each song. The really clever bit is that this track is free on iTunes. After listening to it a few times I found myself humming various phrases. So I’ve gone from only being interested in the single to being aware of the album‘s release date – next Monday – and considering getting it. Nice move.
Quote from a ZDNet Bill Gates interview:
So that would be the philosophical difference between Microsoft and what Google is up to at this point?
Gates: Well, we don’t know everything they are up to, but we do know their slogan and we disagree with that.
Wait…Isn’t Google’s slogan “Don’t Be Evil”?
I think he’s actually referring to “Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.” But that’s not so funny.
