There are a lot of naysayers, and they’re all full of it. I guess part of being a critic is enjoying being critical, but online Doctor Who ‘fans’ seem incapable of liking anything, any more. Time Crash is just lovely.
Agreed: (1) it WAS lovely and (2) critics seem all too eager to forget why they love something. I don’t want to deny them a voice - I dumped one forum because they couldn’t take ANYONE saying that their constant wingeing perhaps suggested they needed to get over themselves a little - but sometimes you wonder WHY people keep turning in to something they clearly HATE and can’t stop moaning about. isn’t there at least a ‘time to shut up’ even if they do still masochistically want to keep watching? Some seem to live for the moans.
I thought Time Crash was delightful. I had a big grin watching it AND rewatching it!
I enjoyed it, esp as Peter Davison was almost the first Doctor I remember. Certainly the one I grew up with, if I have any criticism it’s that it could have been a bit longer
