I was thinking about this a fair bit today.. i've put down a few of my notes..

I liked the film... for me not great but certainly interesting, and it pushed my boundaries - I enjoyed the corners Tarantino took us through, like a rollercoaster it made a thrilling ride, and not one that I come to enjoy naturally.. The film was certainly not a normal choice for me... I didn't see there was a big thing about swearing and violence.. thats just where the film took us.. people do swear.. once upon a time using curse words in dialog was seen as dumbing down - taking the easy way to express an emotion - but in our today's society - swearing is the norm, the way so many people express themselves, especially between peers - but even more so in a scenario of extreme turbulence such as the situation of the movie. I certainly felt a desire for the bad guy of the piece to meet his end.
and was amused by the violent tarantino method of his demise - and then shocked by the explicitness of the final dispatch.
