River Mist

I was walking across the recreation ground earlier this week and saw what looked like a very low-level cloud, hanging a few metres above the ground. It was a little dark for a decent photo from my phone’s camera, but you can just about make it out:

River Mist

I’d never seen anything like it before. I’m told it’s mist that’s moved across from the river.

Looks like the trail of a Hezbollah rocket, launched from the wooded area as part of an indiscriminate attack on ducks and other river-based fauna.

I am trying to imagine a disproportionate duck response. Could get messy.

I’m not anti-duck, just observing that bread has a habit of going missing, and toy boats of getting knocked over, when they’re around…

All started when we gave them their own pond. You can’t expect the geese to be happy about that, but they’ve been reticent to do anything about it because the ducks are mall-’ard.
