Evil rays from the sky

Was it just me, or was the sun was particularly hot today?

(edit 3 mins later: it occurs to me that this is phrased rather badly, and the question is ambiguous; feel free to answer either way, however)

Burny hot, and nasty too - my lobster like sunburn is only on one arm. So one arm is very very red and the other is a sort of pale pinkish.

I’m sure the sun knows what it is doing and takes pleasure in making me look lopsided.

I suspect the sun is indeed out to get us. I hid under a tree for much of the afternoon - that’ll teach it.
