The Girl in the Fireplace

I’ve only just watched last week’s Doctor Who - The Girl in the Fireplace. Wow. Steven Moffat’s episodes last series impressed me greatly, and again I think he really captured something. Break for spoilers…

Again with the excellent lines - “I’m not winding you up” was sheer brilliance - and a touching plot. I also thought the look on Rose’s face during the final scene was beautifully done. The only slight query is whether the Doctor would have left Rose & Mickey as he did, but I guess he would just have waited 200 years and caught a lift with himself…or something. Anyway. Maybe I get too involved in these shows and people laugh at me, but I do so enjoy being entertained this well.
