However, let me repeat: Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz as cowgirls.
I’m sorry, was I saying something?
Admittedly there’s a certain appeal to this film, but based on the trailer I’m not actually all that bothered about seeing it. This seems to be an age thing. You realise your brain is changing when you’re walking around town in the evening, see a girl in a very short skirt standing outside a nightclub and find your first thought actually is: “are you crazy?! It’s freezing out here!”
It’s interesting how this mindset changes. While playing an innuendo-filled lie-detector-based board game with some friends last year we somehow got onto the topic of sex dreams. This isn’t the kind of thing that’s generally discussed in polite company, so I took the opportunity to find out what other people experience1. From a very scientific sampling of two men and two women we deduced the following: women have sex dreams very rarely indeed – so infrequently, in fact, that they can remember each one. Men, however, have them all the time until the age of 20/21, at which point they slowly fade away – this is both a relief and a disappointment 🙂 Further discussion revealed that male horniness-levels in general decrease to non-crazy amounts once the teenage years end. This, everybody agreed, is most definitely A Good Thing.
Could go on. Best not. Am tired, and I’d just end up with a sentence both easily misinterpreted and easily quotable involving Jessica Rabbit or something 🙂
