Two unexpected things happened today. Firstly, I wasn’t expecting to spend an hour and a half writing a post when I should have been eating lunch. Then, at about 1715, I found this thread via LifeHacker, and didn’t stop reading until I reached the end. Somebody Asked Metafilter:

Can you point to a single experience in your life, as a child, which you can define as having contributed to the person you are today?

The answers range from entirely wonderful to utterly horrific, often both, and I frequently found myself in tears.

Right. I’d best go cook something.
