Having played the part of Bottom at the Old Vic (Honest. I used to have acting ambitions) I have a great affection for the play and could watch it any number of times (although when I go with my friends we always find it hard to not join in, and always get strange looks when we are the only ones laughing at the line “I am as ugly as a bear”) but this was was so poor even the great Johnny Vegas could not rescue it.

I could not bear to stay tuned to see how they butchered the play at the end.
