Taking over the world: Phase One

October 31st, 2005 - 18:11 | 3 comments

I was interviewed by a Radio 4 producer last week. Not on the radio or anything; they’re apparently working on a programme about the Live8/G8/Olympics/London bombings week in July and found my live 8 coverage. I’m trying to sound all nonchalant, but I was quite excited when the email came through :-) I gave them a call as requested and spent fifteen minutes or so answering various questions. I don’t know whether I said anything of use, but I was quite happy with my answers. They might phone back - I guess it depends on how interesting I was.

    Hi Andrew,

I’m also from the BBC - making a similar programme but for the TV as part of BBC2’s New year schedule. I’d also love to have a chat with you about your experiences at Live8 … do email me back with a number and a good time to talk.

    Best wishes

    Ah.
Thanks for putting them on to me.

Blogs - are they the new labour-saving research tool for journalists or just a way for geeks to practise their typing?

    You’re welcome!

Bit of both, I think :-)
