Goits.

Since I have been reminded of it recently I would like to name Comet as one to watch as well. Where as your reputable internet retailers will only charge you after they have dispatched your goods it seems that high street dealers will gladly charge before they secure stock. I had the misfortune of being told on collection day that the TV I ordered didn't exist. Despite looking at one in that very store their computer system refused to acknowledge the existence of the model. Also, it seems credit card companies don't sweep accounts for refunds after a statement has been sent but before they direct debit your bank account for lots of money. This results in much credit sitting on your card.

The reason I am reminded? Seems Tiny is also guilty of the early charge. My uncle ordered a TV from them which is unlikely to materialize now due to recent events. I believe the consumer credit card act, or whatever its called, will cover him but anyone who paid by other means probably won't see their money back.

I think this rant suits a post about overcharging and business wank.
