Guess which flight my parents are on…Yup, Toulouse. Typical. I’m meant to be there picking them up.
Oop – 2mins after posting the info has arrived – it’s late 😉
Update: It was due in at 2000 and I got to arrivals at around 2010 to find it had been delayed again, until 2100. No probs, I thought, I’ll hang about. I picked up a puzzle magazine and sat trying to think of a synonym for ‘terse’ that ended in C for a while, then looked up and it had been delayed again until 2210. I’d normally wait, but couldn’t really risk leaving the dogs alone for that long, so have come home. I was thinking, though. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there were some kind of telephonic device that would allow things like this to be communicated? Something that worked over all of Europe, and that, say, every single one of my seven family members had on their person. After all, we’ve all had trouble with arrivals boards not being terribly helpful. I shall have to work on such a gadget.
Update 2: Found ’em. 2240 in the end. I suggested the use of a communications device and they responded by commenting that it would be great if there were some kind of big network in which all the world’s information were available, and it could be accessed in every home. They say touche, but I think I win. Ooh, that reminds me of Touche Turtle. He was cool. Apparently I’m quite tired.
