A Statistician’s Nightmare

Well, I really can’t stay up much longer. While a Labour victory is nigh on certain, with maybe 20% of votes counted nobody’s quite sure what’s happening. The BBC’s first hesitant prediction is for a Labour majority of 68. The last time I went to bed when things were up in the air during election results I woke up to find President Bush still in office, so I’m hoping tomorrow will be somewhat brighter 🙂 I was really hoping for another Conservative leadership contest, but I doubt that’ll happen now. George Galloway and Robert Kilroy-Silk being title-less would be much appreciated, too.

Even if the Labour majority is down, I’m still happy that they’ll remain in power. Gotta wonder whether Tony Blair will be making any big announcements, mind.
