I just emailed the Solihull Times with a response to Cllr. Bramham’s letter. Hopefully somebody slightly more knowledgeable than I will destroy his arguments in a wittier style, but I couldn’t in good conscience not respond. It just winds me up so much that such extraordinary and ridiculous claims are stated by people whose job is to know better.

I’m going to calm down now.

It’s important that somebody’s at least been bothered to write in and tell him what a n00b he is for writing what he did, good for you!

At least you’ve not turned into the:
“pay at pump?! pay at pump? pay at pump? That sounds different to me; I’m going to talk to the man, I don’t like /change/!”
kind of people too (at least, I hope not )
