Claire didn’t win :-( Dorridge was, as ever, a conservative walkover. She had a good ’score’, though.

(EDIT: paragraph separated - reading over it just now, it looked like the preceding sentence was related to the following)

Also, no wankers were elected in Solihull, I’m glad to say :-) That’s possibly due to the pretty good turnout - Dorridge had nearly 50%!

    Where does Bentley Heath come in all that? meh, whatever. Bloody Tories, clearly Labour is the best party ever :P
    Anyway, with my last exam in the morning it will soon become my duty to vote for whoever stands for cutting back education budgets and offloading fees to students. It is in my best interest to have better health care and reduced skill competition. Maybe if it looks like I am going to have a family at some point I might favour more spending on schools again.

    Ah, democracy.
