See what the temperatures are in the different games? Perhaps the later games use new features on the graphics card which is causing it to over heat and/or crash?

I'd say it was hardware related imho. I used to have graphics card problems with my GF2 - it would overheat I think and just randomly crash.

Buy a new graphics card :) hehe
