For your perusal

As some of you know, I’ve been doing a creative writing course for a while now. I think I’m getting better, albeit slowly. The tasks are often to write a short story under a certain amount of words. I’m not very good at this I have a fair few sitting round that I’m loathe to cull. Given that they’ll just disappear otherwise, I’ve put one online. I’m not claiming that it’s any good, but I believe it’s better for it to be at least available for reading than to disappear, never to be seen again. It’s called “Strands”, and can be found here. If you read it, would you mind letting me know what you think (bearing in mind I’m just a n00b )? Thanks very much.

Andy, I really liked it, I got lost in it and forgot that you wrote, and enjoyed it for the story it was. ***** and 2 thumbs up

I agree, that made for captivating reading! I admire your creativity…maybe you can put some more stories up over time
Sorry I don’t think I’m much good at making constructive improvement comments…but I prefer the (slightly confusing) ending you chose as opposed to some kind of cliched one Though knowing you, an obvious ending was probably never on the cards
